To support the international re-launch of one of England’s first perfume houses ‘Grossmith’, originally founded in 1835 by John Grossmith.

Our strategy focussed on the genealogical link of the brand’s original founder to the present day owner, who masterminded the re-launch and worked with industry ‘nose’ Roja Dove to develop three fragrances using original formulas. We collaborated with Roja and negotiated distribution initially via Roja Dove’s Haute Parfumerie in Harrods, Fortnum & Mason, Les Senteurs and specialist perfumeries across in the UK.

The campaign generated high profile broadcast coverage on ITV’s London Tonight show and the BBC’s acclaimed ‘Perfume’ documentary, together with extensive profile and product coverage in: Sunday Times Style Magazine, The Times Luxx, Hello, The Telegraph Magazine, FT How To Spend It Magazine and targeted UAE titles. During the 6 month project we generated an EAC of £300,000 and a return on investment of 7:1. We also supported the brand’s launch in the Middle East.
